Exploring the Rainforest
An interactive e-learning experience designed to immerse learners in the wonders of the rainforest while exploring key concepts through engaging visuals and interactive memory games.
Audience: Middle school students (grades 6-8) studying environmental science.
Tools Used: Articulate Rise 360, Adobe Illustrator, Canva.
The Problem
Many students have limited awareness of the importance of rainforest ecosystems and their role in global biodiversity, climate regulation, and human life. Without a clear understanding of these ecosystems, students may struggle to grasp the real-world impact of deforestation, habitat destruction, and conservation efforts.
The Solution
This Rise 360 training provides an engaging, interactive learning experience that introduces students to rainforest ecosystems, their biodiversity, and ecological significance. Through multimedia elements, quizzes, and real-world scenarios, students will explore the layers of the rainforest, key species, the water and carbon cycles, and human impact. By the end of the course, they should be able to explain the importance of rainforests, identify threats to their survival, and propose conservation strategies. This training enhances traditional classroom instruction with visually engaging and self-paced digital learning, reinforcing key science concepts.
